Meet Rickeyta Snell! With a unique blend of formal credentials and personal experience gained through her own transformative life events, Rickeyta brings a wealth of knowledge and practical guidance to clients at S.E. Jones Therapy. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Rickeyta has been married for over 30 years and is the mother of two adult children and a teenager. She has over 15 years of experience serving the community and has effectively helped numerous couples work toward healthy resolutions in their lives. She is especially passionate about working with couples and has facilitated marriage workshops, led marriage small groups, and worked one-on-one with couples to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

As a seasoned therapist, Rickeyta provides individual and couples counseling for adults ages 21 and older, offering guidance and support in areas such as relationships, personal growth, and life transitions. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology from her beloved Auburn University and a master’s degree in agency counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Rickeyta is advanced trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a highly effective approach in discovering and addressing underlying issues in couple relationships. She also offers premarital counseling as a certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) facilitator.
