Samuel Jones is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. He specializes in individual, couples, and family therapy and maintains a private practice in the Trussville/Clay areas of Alabama. Additionally, he is a board member of the Alabama Board of Examiners in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Samuel and his wife, Angel, reside in Trussville, Alabama. They have four children and are active members of their church. He completed his master’s in marriage and family counseling at California State University, Fullerton, and his doctorate in psychology at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.
With over 25 years of experience as a mental health professional, and as a graduate of California State University specializing in community mental health, he currently serves as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.
In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Samuel has presented at national conferences and to general audiences on the topics of mental health diagnoses and treatment, adolescent and children’s health, suicide prevention, community resources, and self-esteem. He has authored two books.

His therapeutic approach is to provide an understanding of issues, support, and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. He integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
